Pacific Exchange Elects New Governors

The Pacific Exchange (PCX) has announced that, at its annual meeting held on January 24, its members elected J. Steven Noonan, Vice President, SLK-Hull Derivatives, LLC, as Vice Chair-elect of the PCX Board of Governors. Noonan succeeds Paul J. Roesler, Lead Market Maker for Equitec-Cole Roesler, LLC, who will serve as Vice Chair of the Board for 2002. Noonan, who will serve as Vice Chair in 2003, was also elected as a Floor Governor of the Exchange.

Lynne A. Keck, President and CEO of Keck Securities, was reelected to the Board as an Office/Allied Governor, and Karim H. Tahawi, Managing Partner of Pacific Research & Trading, LLC, was elected as a Floor Governor. Tahawi succeeds John A. Brown, a Market Maker with M.J.T. Securities, LLC.

Two new Public Governors were also elected at today's meeting. Terry Brookshire, President, Options-Derivatives Division, OptiMark, Inc., and George C. Hammond, Partner, LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP, will succeed Mary Lee Turner, Director of the Asia Society Hong Kong Center, and Robert T. Yahng, Chairman, American Bridge Company. Don J. McGrath, President & CEO, Bank of the West, was reelected to a three-year term.
