Tehran Stock Exchange will be closed for six days as of this Monday.
Following the surge of COVID-19 Delta variant cases in the country, the Iranian government decided to impose a six-day lockdown for the second time this summer. Since Tehran has been declared a Red Zone, all business and administrative offices in the capital city, including banks and the capital market, will remain closed from Monday (August 16th) until the next Saturday (August 21st 2021).
Therefore, TSE's first trading session after the off-days will be on next Sunday (August 22nd).
