The first day’s evening will be focused on Mexico and the second on Brazil, which will be attended by Octavio Dámaso, Deputy Secretary for Economic Policy, Finance Ministry, Brazil. During both evenings, a select, prestigious representation of entrepreneurs and analysts will discuss the political and economic topics that are highest on the agenda of these two nations.
This gathering provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Latin American economies and companies. Together with the sectoral panels – where speakers will be presenting their companies’ strategies and financial results – the Forum will have the presence of such outstanding economic and political representatives from both sides of the Atlantic The relevance and the number of the attending companies and political institutions make this Forum the main gathering of its type in Europe.
During the three days of the Forum, one-to-one meetings will take place between investors and companies to allow the former to get to know the corporations more in depth and help companies test the potential of the European market as a source of finance. Latibex, the link between stock markets in Europe and Latin America, is the third biggest market for Latin American stocks by market capitalisation.
Latibex is going to host, for the second time, a conference geared to retail investors, in which the different investment alternatives offered by Latin American companies quoted in Euro will be examined. The event will take place at the stock exchange Palace, on 17th November, after the closure of the VIII Forum.
