Oslo Børs Strengthens Its Customer Focus

Oslo Børs is to establish a new Market Department to take on overall responsibility for the exchange´s customer relationships. One of the main objectives for the new department will be to identify and evaluate the needs of investors, listed companies and investment firms in order to ensure that the future development of the markets operated by Oslo Børs reflects the requirements of their users.

The Market Department will be run by Hege Sjo, Senior Vice President, who will form part of the executive management team of Oslo Børs. Hege Sjo has been Chief Financial Officer of Oslo Børs since 2001. Prior to taking up this position she was principally involved in developing the exchange´s strategy. Hege Sjo joined Oslo Børs in 1995 and holds a BA Hon Business and a Master in financial economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration .
