Oslo Børs: New Trading System From 27 May

Following testing of the new trading system and related systems over the weekend, Oslo Børs have decided that the final date of implementation of the new trading system, SAXESS™, will be 27 May.

During former tests, there was identified a number of issues that would take some time to rectify. New tests last weekend showed that the quality of the systems is as good as Oslo Børs and the users require. Therefore, Oslo Børs have decided to start the new trading system Monday 27 May 2002. Until the live date, Oslo Børs will complete a stable period of internal operation and make some small adjustments before use of the system is extended to investment firm.
