On Tuesday 16 December a total of 385,218 contracts were traded in the Oslo Børs derivatives market, which is more than 30,000 contracts higher than the previous record for contracts traded in a day set on 13 May this year (351,177).
Trading was dominated by contracts in OBX securities, and the major part of the day's trading was rolling over positions in connection with the Thursday 18 December contract expiry date.
