- Trading volume during the evening session has remained steady.
Year 2008 (from January to December)
- Nikkei 225 Futures: 2,032,045 units: 6.1% of morning & afternoon sessions
- Nikkei 225 mini: 9,866,229 units: 11.5% of morning & afternoon sessions
- Nikkei 225 Options: 1,933,772 units: 6.4% of morning & afternoon sessions
- ETFs: Both trading volume and trading value for the year 2008 hit a record high.
- Year 2008: 267,210,000 units, 2,537.8 bil yen
