Highlights
- Trading volume of Nikkei 225 mini in February 2013 was 19,127,209 units, which achieved the record-high for the second consecutive month.
Also, daily average trading volume of Nikkei 225 mini was 1,006,695 units. By products, this is the first record to exceed 1 million units. - Total derivatives trading volume in February 2013 was 27,453,934 units, which recorded the third highest.
- Trading volume of Night Session in February 2013 was 8,652,588 units, which achieved the record-high for the second consecutive month.
Trading volume ratio of Night Session to Day Session in February 2013 was 47.9%. - Total trading value of ETFs market was 667.1 billion yen, which achieved the record-high for the second consecutive month.
By products, trading value of Nikkei 225 Leveraged Index ETF (1570) and Nikkei 225 Inverse Index ETF (1571) achieved the record-high since they were listed in April 2012. - Trading value of JASDAQ Market in February 2013 was 1,063 billion yen.
This is the first record to exceed 1,000 billion yen since the market integration in October 2010.
