Osaka Exchange Admits First Remote Trading Participant From Hong Kong

Osaka Exchange (OSE) will welcome Susquehanna Hong Kong Limited (Susquehanna) as its first remote trading participant on June 1, 2017.

 The Remote Trading Participant system was established in June 2009 to allow foreign securities brokers without business bases in Japan to directly participate in the exchange market as trading participants.
With the admission of this first participant, the number of futures, etc. trading participants will total 82.
In addition, Susquehanna has already been trading on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) since becoming the first remote trading participant at TSE on May 1, 2015.

Susquehanna is a participant of HKEx and engages in securities and derivatives trading on behalf of its affiliates while also serving as a market maker for derivatives.
