OneChicago, LLC today announced that 97,697 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in May. Open interest stood at 136,623 contracts May 28. Each single stock futures contract is equivalent to 100 shares of the underlying stock or exchange-traded fund.

The top five security futures products by volume in May were:

  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ1C)
  • Altria Group Inc. (MO1C)
  • Citigroup Inc. (C1C)
  • Comverse Technology Inc. (CMVT1C)
  • Sun MicroSystems (SUNW1C)
The Exchange has a total of 109 products: 94 single stock futures, including futures on the DIAMONDS Trust, and 15 futures on the Dow Jones MicroSector IndexesSM.
