OneChicago Reports March 2010 Volume, Up 65% From March 2009, Open Interest Up 419% from March 2009

OneChicago, LLC (“OCX”) today reported that 385,125 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in March 2010, an increase of 65% from March 2009. Year to date volume was 1,046,737, up 104% from 1st quarter 2009.

Open interest stood at 575,863 contracts at the end of March 2010, a 419% increase over March 2009.

The top five March volume OneChicago contracts are:

AT & T, Inc
Kraft Foods, Inc
Verizon Communications, Inc
Exxon Mobil Corporation
General Electric Company

March Highlights

OneChicago added 44 new listings during March 2010. OneChicago now lists 1,933 issues including 232 ETFs.
