OneChicago, LLC today announced that it traded 94,321 contracts in February. Open interest at OneChicago stood at 57,355 contracts on Feb. 28 after reaching 91,733 prior to FEB 03 delivery.

The top five security futures products by volume in February were: Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) with 42,146 contracts traded, DIAMONDS (DIA) 9,846, Dell (DELL) 3,725, Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) 1,897 and Cisco Systems (CSCO) 1,821. Each contract is equivalent to 100 shares of the underlying stock.

Microsoft's monthly volume total is the highest for any security futures since the products began trading Nov. 8, 2002. The Exchange has a total of 85 single stock futures as well as futures on the DIAMONDS Trust.

OneChicago is a joint venture of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). All products listed to date are physically settled at expiration, electronically traded on the CBOEdirect match engine and accessible through the CBOEdirect and GLOBEX platforms. All security futures can be traded out of either a securities or a futures account.
