OneChicago Appoints Robert Walsh As Managing Director Of Operations

William J. Rainer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OneChicago, LLC, the joint venture created to trade single stock futures by Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME), Chicago Board Options Exchange® (CBOE®), and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®), today announced the appointment of Robert Walsh to serve as Managing Director of Operations for OneChicago.

Walsh moves to OneChicago from the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he was instrumental in the successful debut of CBOE's extended trading sessions on CBOEdirectTM, the exchange's new screen-based trading system. Walsh has also been a key member of the team preparing for the launch of single stock futures.

Walsh has 25 years experience in the futures and securities business, including thirteen years with CBOE, culminating as Vice President of Trade Processing; Vice President of Data Processing and Telecommunications for Kessler Asher Group; and Director of Product Development for the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation.

Walsh holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from DePaul University.
