OneChicago, LLC (OCX), an equity finance exchange, today announced its September 2014 volume of 1,357,848, a 7% increase year-over-year. OneChicago is a CFTC and SEC regulated exchange offering Single Stock Futures (SSF), a Delta One product, on approximately 1,500 equities, including ADRs and ETFs.
September 2014 highlights include:
- Year-to-date volume through September 30, 2014, was 7,952,933 up 14% compared to the first nine months of 2013.
- Open interest increased 3% year-over-year to 678,148 contracts on the equity finance exchange at close-of-market, September 30, 2014.
- 1,347,696 Exchange Futures for Physicals (EFPs) and blocks were traded. September 2014 EFP and block activity represented $6.6 billion in notional value.
- 59% of September 2014 month-end open interest was in OCX.NoDivRisk™ products. The OCX.NoDivRisk product suite is an innovative equity finance tool, which removes dividend risk for customers carrying equity delta exposure through derivatives.
