Omani Market Authority Rings Tehran Stock Exchange's Opening Bell

The executive president of Oman’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) and the entity’s Compliance and Disclosure director visited Tehran Stock Exchange, and joined the Exchange’s brokers at the trading hall to ring TSE’s opening bell on 3 November 2013.

Mr. Al-Salmy met with Dr. Ghalibaf, TSE’s CEO and Mr. Hamoony, Iran Farabourse (SMEs Exchange)’s CEO on the occasion.

CMA delegation was invited to Iran to attend the Iranian Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO)’s launching of XBRL initiative for the country’s capital market.

The Omani delegates were later presented about TSE and Farabourse, and Mr. Al-Salmy had a short speech about both countries markets’ cooperation and opportunities.
