OM Stockholm Exchange - extended opening this autumn

The Board of the OM Stockholm Exchange has decided to extend the hours of Swedish equity trading. From this autumn onwards, the OM Stockholm Exchange will be open for equity and derivatives trading from CET 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., implying a one-hour extension from the current hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This extension is due to several factors, including a rapid increase in retail interest for trading the stock market and a growing non-Swedish interest in the Swedish market. The precise date this change will be effected will be determined after consultation with the major market players. Furthermore, a study into the prospects for the further extension of trading hours will be undertaken with Exchange customers.
