OM Gruppen AB Hopes for Cooperation with Oslo Stock Exchange

OM Gruppen AB , the Swedish exchange group which owns the Stockholm Stock Exchange, hopes to cooperate in equities with the Oslo bourse. Stockholm's plans to create a pan-Nordic market received a setback in November 1998 when the Helsinki Stock Exchange ended talks on a link-up with OM and said it would join Germany's Deutsche Börse and the Swiss-German Eurex market in a strategic alliance.
