Olivier Vigna Appointed As Chief Economist And Head Of The Analysis, Strategy And Risk Division At The Autorité Des Marchés Financiers

Olivier Vigna has been appointed as Chief Economist and Head of the Analysis, Strategy and Risk Division of the AMF Regulatory Policy and International Affairs Directorate.

Olivier Vigna, 42, is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and IEP Paris. He joined the Banque de France in 1996, where he worked for five years as an off-site, then on-site supervisor for the  Commission bancaire, then for a further five years  as  an economist/statistician in the Balance of Payments Division. In 2005, he worked as a macroeconomist at the Foreign Economies Research Division, before becoming Head of the Euro Area Outlook Division in Business Conditions and Macroeconomic Forecasting in 2007. He was then appointed as Head of Marketplace Relationships and Crisis Management in the Financial  Stability  Division  in  2010  and  was  also  a  member  of  the  AMF’s  Consultative Commission on Individual and Collective Asset Management.
