Olin Corp. Added To Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index

Olin Corp. will be added to the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index, Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, announced today.

The addition of Olin Corp. (NYSE:OLN) follows the removal of Nicor Inc. (NYSE:GAS), which is being acquired by AGL Resources Inc. (NYSE:AGL).

Headquartered in Clayton, Missouri, Olin Corp. is a manufacturer concentrated in two business segments: Chlor Alkali Products and Winchester.  Olin Corp. has been involved in the U.S. chlor alkali industry for more than 100 years. Winchester is in its 80th year as part of Olin.

All changes in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index will be effective before the open of trading on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

The Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index tracks the top 100 highest dividend-paying U.S. companies derived from the Dow Jones U.S. Index, which covers approximately 95% of U.S. market capitalization.
