Offical Launch Of iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index On NYSE

Senior executives from FTSE Group, Xinhua Finance and Barclays Global Investors (BGI) visited the New York Stock Exchange today to celebrate the recent listing of the iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index exchange traded fund (ETF) which is based on the FTSE/Xinhua China 25 index.

Mark Makepeace, Chief Executive of FTSE Group and Chairman of the FTSE/Xinhua Index, Fredy Bush, CEO of Xinhua Finance and Director of FTSE/Xinhua Index, Zhu Shan, Managing Director of FTSE/Xinhua Index and Lee Kranefuss, CEO of Barclays Global Investors U.S. Intermediary Business, commemorated the launch by attending the Opening Bell ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange along with Catherine Kinney, President of the NYSE, Jerry Moskowitz, Managing Director of FTSE Americas, and representatives from trading institutions on the NYSE floor.
