- Total volume increased 6.1% year over year. OCC cleared more than 1.49 billion contracts during September, while year-to-date average daily volume increased 20.5% to 70.8 million contracts.
- ETF options recorded the strongest annual growth among the options categories. September volume increased 37.9% to more than 642 million contracts, with year-to-date average daily volume also up approximately 35%.
- Index options continued to post double-digit growth. September volume rose 21.9% to more than 137 million contracts, while year-to-date average daily volume increased 29.3%.
