Dominion Finance Holdings is the holding company for Dominion Finance Group Limited, which focuses solely on the financial lending sector.
NZX markets development manager, Geoff Brown, said Dominion Finance Holdings' listing marked another addition to the growing number of finance sector-related companies listed on NZX's markets.
“Investors now have a number of finance companies to choose from as investment possibilities. This is a sector that has previously been under-represented on our markets,” he said. “However, in the last six months we have seen several companies with interests in the financial services sector listing on the NZSX and NZAX markets.”
Shares in Dominion Finance Holdings will be quoted on the NZSX Market under the security code ‘DFH' from 10am today.
Dominion Finance Holdings' listing follows an initial public offer of shares that closed over-subscribed on Friday.
Andrew McDouall, managing director of organising participant McDouall Stuart Securities Limited, said that for the $15 million being raised in the offer, there was over $20 million in applications from NZX Firms. This was in addition to demand from Dominion Finance Group's debenture holders and the public. Scaling was necessary as a result.
