NZX advises that Chief Operating Officer Mandy Simpson has resigned to take up a role as Chief Executive Officer at a New Zealand cyber security firm.
NZX CEO Tim Bennett commented: “I would like to sincerely thank Mandy for her enormous contribution to NZX over the last four years, leading the teams operating our capital markets, and more recently the energy markets, and the related clearing and settlement functions. I wish Mandy all the best in her new role. ”
“Among other things Mandy’s legacy at NZX includes our Graduate Programme which she designed and launched in 2013, ensuring we have and will continue to attract top new talent to our organisation, and the strengthening of NZX Clearing, which provides a critical role in managing risk in New Zealand’s capital markets.”
Ms Simpson’s resignation is effective 31 October 2016.
