“For the first time NZX has conducted a comprehensive review of the entire suite of non regulatory services we provide, and the fees attached to those services for different categories of Issuers,” said NZX Head of Products Geoff Brown. “We found it was helpful to view NZX market and non regulatory services provided to customers as a mall where our Issuers can place their shop front. We provide Issuers the presence and the ability to brand and market themselves to existing and potential stakeholders; we offer the facility to share relevant information with those stakeholders in a sound, risk-managed environment; we offer the additional profile and potential of the indices and broad international coverage; and we offer the foot traffic in the form of market data – people walking past that shop front and stopping to take a look inside and trade,” said Brown.
