NZX has signed a lease with Precinct Properties for NZX’s new Auckland office space in Zurich House, Queen Street, in the heart of Auckland’s Central Business District.
The more centrally located and well-equipped space underlines NZX’s increased strategic focus on Auckland and our valued customers and other stakeholders based there.
NZX intends to move its Auckland based Markets team to the new office on the seventh floor of Zurich House on Monday 19 August. NZX’s Energy, Operations, Technology and Regulation teams will continue to be predominately based in Wellington.
Zurich House is close to transport hubs and links, being adjacent to Britomart Transport Centre. The building was redeveloped in 2007 by Precinct Properties into a 5-Star green rated building.
NZX’s floor includes function areas for events and hosting of customers and market activities.
NZX’s Auckland staff will share the floor with Link Market Services (50% owned by NZX) who will shift to Zurich House on Monday 2 September.
NZX Agri’s Auckland based staff will also move to the new location, which will provide a better base for serving their external stakeholders, including advertising agencies and direct customers.
NZX CEO Tim Bennett commented: “Our new Auckland office supports NZX’s continued building of relationships with our broad base of stakeholders, including customers, listed companies and participants, co-regulators and industry bodies.”
