NZX today announces the appointment of Jayshree Das as an independent non-director member of NZX’s Conflicts Committee, effective 28 June 2017.
Jayshree has previously held several executive roles at UBS including, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, and was also a director of the business for more than 10 years. She is also a former Chair of the Security Industry Association and an associate chartered accountant. Jayshree is currently Craigs Investment Partners’ Process Excellence & Governance Advisor.
The role of NZX’s Conflicts Committee is to review and consider the effectiveness of the organisation’s policies and procedures to ensure that any perceived or actual conflicts of interest within the Group are appropriately managed. This includes making recommendations to the board to address any perceived or actual conflicts of interest between NZX’s regulatory responsibilities and its commercial interests.
