NZX 50 Index Hits All Time High

The NZX 50 reached an all time high today, closing above 5,000 for the first time.

NZX CEO Tim Bennett commented: “This reflects a continued interest in the New Zealand market from domestic and foreign investors, driven by the quality of our listed companies and the very positive outlook for the New Zealand economy.”

The NZX 50 closed at 5007, with over 4,000 trades totalling more than $94 million.
