NYSE’s Reed: Exchange’s Self-Regulatory Function Should Not Be Split Off

Interim New York Stock Exchange Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John Reed told the House Financial Services Subcommittee that the NYSE should continue in its dual role as an exchange and an SRO, and outlined planned changes to strengthen both functions.
