NYSE Reports Record First-Hour Volume Today

The New York Stock Exchange today announced that it processed new 30-minute and 60-minute trading volume records for the first hour of trading.

In November, NYSE Group once again processed more transactions than any other U.S. exchange group, with a total of 61.1 billion shares traded and 69.0 billion shares handled during the month.
