MEDICA, a leading provider of long-term and temporary dependency care in France, today celebrated its listing on NYSE Euronext in Paris under the symbol MCA.
A total of 47,872,857 MEDICA shares were admitted to trading on NYSE Euronext. Investors were offered 19,591,346 shares before the possible greenshoe option, through a combined operation, including an open-price offering and a global placement for qualified investors in France and abroad. Including the offer reserved to Predica for around EUR 20 million, this raised a total EUR 275 million. Based on the final opening price of EUR 13 per share, the company’s market capitalization amounts to EUR 623 million.
