NYSE Euronext Names Clarke Dryden Camper Senior Vice President, Head Of Government Affairs And Public Advocacy

NYSE Euronext (NYX) today appointed Clarke Dryden Camper to the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Government Affairs and Public Advocacy.  Mr. Camper, who will be based in Washington , D.C. , will be responsible for managing and executing the company’s government affairs and public advocacy programs.  He will report to John K. Halvey, General Counsel and Group Executive Vice President, NYSE Euronext.

“Clarke is a highly skilled and seasoned professional whose extensive experience in the public and private sectors will be extremely beneficial to NYSE Euronext and our constituents during this time of great change in our capital markets,” said Duncan Niederauer, Chief Executive Officer, NYSE Euronext.

Mr. Halvey added, “We look forward to Clarke joining and augmenting our Washington D.C. presence. This is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to better represent the investor and issuer communities on matters that impact their future and that of the marketplace.”

Mr. Camper has more than 20 years of experience in government relations, legislative policy and public advocacy.  From 2005 to earlier this year, Mr. Camper served as Vice President for Global External Affairs at GE Money, a subsidiary of the General Electric Company (GE: NYSE).  He received a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1995 and a Masters degree in Public Policy in 1986 from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, where he was named a Kennedy Fellow.  He earned an A.B. degree in public policy from Stanford University in 1983.
