NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX) announced at its annual meeting today that shareholders who cast votes elected the full slate of directors to its Board and ratified the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for 2007.
Based on preliminary results presented by Inspector of Elections, Georgeson Inc., NYSE Euronext shareholders elected to the Board of Directors: Jan-Michiel Hessels (Chairman of the Board), Marshall N. Carter (Deputy Chairman), John A. Thain (Chief Executive Officer), Jean-Francois Theodore (Deputy Chief Executive Officer), Ellyn L. Brown, Sir George Cox, Andre Dirckx, William E. Ford, Sylvain Hefes, Dominique Hoenn, Patrick Houel, Shirley Ann Jackson, James S. McDonald, Duncan M. McFarland, James J. McNulty, Baron Jean Peterbroeck, Alice M. Rivlin, Ricardo Salgado, Robert B. Shapiro, Rijnhard van Tets, Karl M. von der Heyden, and Sir Brian Williamson.
