The Board used a special transitional provision in the Exchange's Constitution to appoint to the Regulatory Enforcement & Listing Standards Committee two past members of the Committee for Review who are neither current directors nor members of the Board of Executives: A. James Jacoby, Tradition (Asiel) Securities, Inc., and Larry W. Sonsini, Chairman and CEO, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The balance of the committee is comprised of members of the Board of Directors and Board of Executives. The other four committees are comprised solely of members of the Board of Directors.
The Floor Representatives of the Board of Executives - two specialists, John F.X. Dolan and Peter J. Murphy, and two floor brokers, Doreen Mogavero and Robert H. McCooey, Jr. - will assume the responsibilities of former Floor Directors, effective today. The former Floor Directors James Duryea, Robert Fagenson and Christopher Quick will become Executive Floor Officials.
