Nymex To Waive Fees For New Electricity Contract

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will waive transaction fees for its monthly financially settled Pennsylvania/New Jersey/ Maryland (PJM) electricity futures contract for the first six months.

The contract will be launched on Friday.

In addition, the Exchange also announced that PJM permit holders would be charged member fees for a natural gas trade offsetting a PJM position.
