The expirations are being moved back due to the decision by the Exchange to close on the day after Thanksgiving. The options will expire on November 21 instead of November 25 and the futures will expire on November 25 instead of November 26.
The Exchange had previously announced that it would resume regular opening hours for its gold, silver, and copper futures and options markets beginning on January 2.
These markets will continue to trade on an abbreviated schedule with closing times that are one hour earlier than they were prior to September 11.

Henry Hub natural gas swaps are traded on NYMEX ACCESS® from 7 PM, Sunday, and 3:15 PM, Mondays through Thursdays, through 1:30 the next day, with a one-hour halt from 9AM to 10 AM. Electricity futures are traded electronically, beginning at the same times on NYMEX ACCESS® and closing at 9 AM each day.
