NYMEX To Establish COMEX Division Posting Deadline For EFPs

The New York Mercantile Exchange will, beginning on December 20, establish a posting deadline of 10 A.M. the next business day for exchange of futures for physicals (EFPs) transacted on the COMEX Division while the open outcry market is closed. The rule change, recently approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, also provides that all EFPs transacted during the open outcry session must be posted by the end of that session, and that EFP transactions may not be posted during the post-close session or any time other than open outcry trading hours.
