Nymex To Begin Offering Nymex Access® Trading Over The Internet

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that NYMEX ACCESS® electronic trading will be available over the internet beginning with the September 4 session, which begins at 7 PM, September 3.

New system user agreements are available at www.nymex.com/access and must be signed before users will be authorized to trade. Approved traders will be able to log on to the site at www.nymexaccess.com.

Products that will be available for after-hours trading over the site will include light, sweet crude oil futures; heating oil futures; unleaded gasoline futures; natural gas futures; propane futures; platinum futures; gold futures; silver futures; copper futures; aluminum futures; and palladium futures. Electricity futures are offered for daytime trading as well as overnight through NYMEX ACCESS®. Brent crude oil futures will be available for after-hours trading beginning with the September 6 trading session, which starts at 4 PM, September 5.

NYMEX ACCESS® will no longer offer trading in Exchange options contracts, beginning with the September 20 trading session.
