NYMEX Sets Open Interest Record For Brent Futures Complex

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., a subsidiary of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:NMX), announced today that it set daily open interest records for the Brent crude oil futures contracts complex on June 11.

Total open interest for the Brent crude oil futures contracts complex reached 92,405 contracts, surpassing the previous record of 91,787 contracts set on June 6.

The Brent crude oil complex consists of the Brent Bullet, Dubai–Brent Calendar swap, Brent Calendar swap, Dated Brent, Dated to Frontline Brent, WTI–Brent Bullet swap, WTI–Brent Calendar swap, and Oman–Brent Calendar swap futures contracts.
