The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., a subsidiary of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:NMX), announced today that its gold futures contract set an open interest record on May 24.
Open interest reached 423,183 contracts, surpassing the previous record of 417,316 contracts set on February 28.
