Nymex Sets Fees for Clearing Monthly PJM Electricity Futures Through NYMEX ClearPort<SUP>sm</SUP>

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., will begin charging fees for off-exchange transactions in financially settled monthly PJM electricity futures that are cleared through NYMEX ClearPort^sm, beginning with the October 13 business session.

Fees for an exchange of electricity futures for physicals or exchange of futures for swaps submitted to NYMEX ClearPort^sm clearing will be $5.40 per contract per side for Exchange members and $6.00 per contract per side for non-members.

Clearing fees have been waived for the contract since its launch. The waiver for the PJM weekly and daily futures contracts will continue through the end of the year.
