Exchange–wide futures and options volume reached 1,420,734 contracts, exceeding the 1,383,616 contracts traded on August 30, 2005.
NYMEX Division futures and options contracts traded a record 1,185,628 contracts, surpassing the 1,168,260 contracts traded on August 30, 2005.
NYMEX and COMEX Division options hit 346,414, beating the previous record of 301,388 contracts traded on January 20.
NYMEX Division options reached 280,347 contracts, surpassing the 262,731 contracts traded on January 20.
