NYMEX Opens Singapore Office, Appoints Director

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. will open an office in Singapore on May 17.

Jennifer Ilkiw will serve as the director of the Singapore office. Prior to joining NYMEX, she worked with the Monetary Authority of Singapore to help develop Singapore as a commodity derivatives trading center. Ms Ilkiw will aid in the continued development the Asian marketplace for the Exchange, working with clients throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Ms Ilkiw is a committee member of the Financial Women’s Association of Singapore and an active participant in Singapore’s financial community. She earned a bachelors degree in economics from Queens’ University in Canada and a masters of business administration from the University of Toronto in Canada. Ms. Ilkiw also contributed to a textbook on international business in the Asia Pacific published in 2004.
