The New York Mercantile Exchange today revised trading hours for the week of September 24, 2001.
The new schedule is as follows:
COMEX Division futures and options contracts:
- Copper, 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Aluminum, 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Gold, 9:35 AM to 1:00 PM
- Silver, 9:40 AM to 1:00 PM
- Eurotop 100® and 300® futures, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (futures only)
NYMEX Division futures and options contracts:
- Palladium futures, 9:10 AM to 12:55 PM
- Platinum , 9:20 AM to 1:00 PM
- Propane futures , 9:30 AM to 1:05 PM
- Natural Gas, 10:30 AM to 1:45 PM, Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri and to 2:30 PM, Wed.
- Brent Crude Oil , 10:30 AM to 1:45 PM
- Light, Sweet Crude Oil , 10:45 AM to 1:45 PM
- Heating Oil , 10:50 AM to 1:45 PM
- Unleaded Gasoline , 10:50 AM to 1:45 PM
- Crack spread options , 10:50 AM to 1:45 PM
- Brent/WTI spread options , 10:45 AM to 1:45 PM
- Coal futures, 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM.
Internet-based NYMEX ACCESS® will begin regular electronic trading sessions of starting Sunday night, September 23. This includes Sunday night sessions beginning at 7 PM and ending at 8 AM for metals futures and 9 AM for all listed energy futures other than propane and electricity futures; Monday through Thursday sessions beginning at 4 PM and ending at 8 AM for metals and 9 AM for all listed energy futures other than propane and electricity futures; electricity futures trading beginning at 7 PM on Sundays and 4 PM, Mondays through Thursdays, and lasting until 2:30 PM the following day; and 5 to 7 PM sessions for propane futures on Monday through Thursdays.
