NYBOT's Cocoa Options Contract Breaks Record

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that its cocoa options contract has set a new open interest record of 97,698 contracts set on February 3, 2003. The previous record was 96,054 contracts established on October 18, 2002.

Cocoa futures and options contracts are traded on NYBOT's Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange, Inc. from 8:00 am until 11:50 am (NY Time). The Cocoa futures contract is 10 metric tons (22,046 pounds) of exchange-certified cocoa.
