NYBOT Seat Price Sets New Record

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that a full seat on its exchange yesterday sold for $270,000, a new record. The previous high, established on August 11th, 2004, was $240,000.

A full seat at NYBOT entitles the holder the right to trade every product at the exchange, including all agricultural and financial products, as well as both futures and options contracts. The exchange publishes recent seat sales in the Market Information section at its website at www.nybot.com.
