NYBOT Names Five Public Members

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT®) announced yesterday the appointment of five Public Members to its Board of Directors. Terms for the new Public Members start March 1, 2001.

The Public Members are:

  • Maxine Champion, President and Founder of Champion Strategies of Washington, DC. Ms. Champion is appointed for a 2-year term expiring February 28, 2003.
  • Adrian J. De Young, Consultant with Rabobank International in New York, NY. Mr. De Young is appointed for a 1-year term expiring February 28, 2002.
  • Peter F. Karpen, Managing Member of Diversified Investment Management, LLC, of Darien, CT. Mr. Karpen is appointed for a 1-year term expiring February 28, 2002.
  • Hugh R. Lamle, President and Principal of M.D. Sass Investors Services, Inc., in New York, NY. Mr. Lamle is appointed for a 2-year term expiring February 28, 2003.
  • Terrence F. Martell, Fellow at The Weissman Center for International Business at Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York, in New York, NY. Mr. Martell is appointed for a 2-year term expiring February 28, 2003.
