Other monthly volume records set in June were: Agricultural Futures (2,967,462 contracts); Total Futures (3,565,784 contracts), Cotton No. 2sm (symbol CT) futures (601,971 contracts), Cocoa (symbol CC) futures (333,275 contracts), and Coffee “C”® (symbol KC) futures (476,542 contracts).
Daily volume records were set for the U.S. Dollar Index® (symbol DX) futures contract on June 12 with 28,701 contracts, and also the Russell 1000® Index (symbol R) options contract, with 4,214 contracts traded June 14.

Additionally, year-to-date (YTD) trading during the month was up 25%, reaching nearly 24 million combined futures and options contracts. YTD category increases include: Total Ag Futures (up 19%), Currency Futures (up 31%), and Total Futures (up 20%); options increases are Ag Options (up 44%), Currency Options (up 15%), and Total Options (up 42%).

-Sugar No. 11sm (symbol SB) futures contract (up 26%) and Sugar No. 11 options (up 128%)
-U.S. Dollar Index® (symbol DX) futures (up 39%) and options (up 8%)
-Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (symbol OJ) futures (up 19%)
-Cocoa (symbol CC) futures (up 18%)
-Cotton No. 2sm (symbol CT) futures (up 14%)
-Coffee “C”® (symbol KC) futures (up 4%) and options (6%)
-Wood Pulp (symbol P) futures (up 35%)
