NYBOT Issues Reminder For New Trading Hours After Its Move Into One North End Avenue

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) issued a reminder today for its new trading schedule to become effective after the NYBOT exchanges move into their new home in the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) building at One North End Avenue on September 2, 2003.

NEW TRADING SCHEDULE - EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 2, 2003
(all times NY local hours)

NYBOT AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS:

Cocoa: 8:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.; closing period commences at 11:45 a.m.
Coffee "C": 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; closing period commences at 12:28 p.m.
Cotton No. 2: 10:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.; closing period commences at 2:14 p.m.
FCOJ-1: 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; closing period commences at 1:29 p.m.
Sugar No. 11: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; closing period commences at 11:58 a.m.
Sugar No. 14: 8:50 a.m. to 11:58 a.m. trading suspension, with a Closing Call commencing at 12:00 p.m. or if delayed (as determined by the caller) at 12:10 p.m.

NYBOT FINANCIAL PRODUCTS:

USDX and Dollar-based Currency Pairs: Evening Session: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Dublin Session: 3:00 a.m. to 8:05 a.m.
NY Day Session: 8:05 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closing period commences at 2:59 p.m.)

Euro-based Currency Pairs and Cross Rates:
Evening Session: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Dublin Session: 3:00 a.m. to 9:05 a.m.
NY Day Session: 9:05 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closing period commences at 2:59 p.m.)

Russell Indexes and NYSE Composite Index:
9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.; closing period commences at 4:15 p.m.
On last trading day of the month, market closes at 4:05 p.m.

Reuters/CRB Index: 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The exchange's facilities were located in Four World Trade Center and were completely destroyed in the September 11th terrorist attacks. NYBOT has since been operating on an abbreviated trading schedule out of its backup site in Long Island City, Queens, New York. In a ceremony on February 26, 2003, with Governor George Pataki, Mayor Bloomber, and others, NYBOT and NYMEX officials announced that the exchange was moving back to the financial district and into the NYMEX building in September 2003. NYBOT's first day of trading in its new facilities is September 2, 2003.
