NYBOT Euro/Japanese Yen Contract Sets New Volume Record

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT®)announced today that its Euro/Japanese yen futures contract set an all-new dailyvolume record of 9,487 contracts on Monday, December 9, 2002. The new high replaces the old record of 8,958 contracts set on Thursday, March 14, 2002.

In addition to a trading floor in New York, NYBOT's Finex exchange operates a trading floor in Dublin, Ireland. Finex is the only exchange in the world that has trading floors on two different continents, which enablesthe exchange to trade its products virtually around the clock.

The size of the Euro/Japanese yen contract is 100,000 Euros and has aticker symbol of "EJ."
