NYBOT Cocoa Market On Record-Breaking Streak

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) announced yesterday yet another new record for cocoa put option open interest of 20,868 contracts, set on January 31, 2001. The new record passes the previous cocoa put option open interest record of 20,686 contracts, recorded on January 30, 2001.

The cocoa market at NYBOT has recently set new records for cocoa put option open interest, cocoa futures daily volume, and cocoa call option daily volume categories.

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) is the parent company of the Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange, Inc. (CSCE) and the New York Cotton Exchange (NYCE).
